"Biblioteca intervenida" visita el Festival Ingràvid de Figueras

La “Biblioteca intervenida” es un fondo de publicaciones intervenidas por artistas, comisariado por Ingráfica y gestionado por Hablar en Arte para su exposición/consulta.
La biblioteca acepta todo tipo de intervenciones (dibujo, collage, recortes, inserciones, etc.), pero siempre utilizando como soporte una publicación ya existente. Como cualquier biblioteca, cuenta con todo tipo de “literatura”, destinada a todos los públicos.
Para la primera fase de creación de la “Biblioteca intervenida” se ha invitado a cerca de 40 artistas para que produzcan los primeros ejemplares de la biblioteca, que irá creciendo con el paso del tiempo para hacerse más grande. 40 publicaciones intervenidas que se convierten en ejemplares únicos del archivo para su exposición y lectura en una itinerancia por diferentes sedes nacionales e internacionales. La Biblioteca está además disponible on line en la web de Ingráfica para que sea revisada y estudiada.

La segunda parada de “Biblioteca intervenida”, tras su paso por el Museo de Arte Moderno y Contemporáneo de Santander y Cantabria (MAS) con motivo del Festival Desvelarte, es el Festival de Cultura Contemporània de L’Empordà Ingràvid de Figueras, que tiene lugar del 9 al 19 de noviembre.

“The intervened library” visits the Festival Ingràvid in Figueras
From 9 to 19 of November, 2011
“The intervened library” is a range of publications that have been intervened by artists. The exhibition has been curated by Ingráfica and managed by Hablar en Arte for its exhibition / consultation.
“The intervened library” accepts all types of interventions (drawing, collage, cutting, inserts, etc.), with the sole condition that the publication that is used as a canvas should be an existing and published book. As in every library, any kind of "literature", aimed to all audiences, will be necessary.
Hence the heterogeneity of the selection of artists that have been invited to the first stage of “The intervened library”. For the first phase of “The intervened library”, Ingráfica invited 40 artists to produce the first 40 works of the library, which will grow and become bigger with the time passing. The library with the unique works of the archive can be touched and read on its itinerancy to different national and international venues throughout 2012 and 2013. The library is also available online and can be revised and studied at the website of Ingráfica.
The second stop of "The intervened library", after visiting the Museo de Arte Moderno y Contemporáneo de Santander y Cantabria (MAS), is the Festival Ingrávid in Figueras, whose next edition takes place from 9 to 19 of November.
